Day 3 – April 3, 2012
It was a quiet morning today which experienced first showers of the season that cooled off the surrounding but eventually raised the temperature of mine as I needed to put on fast track plans for reaching the station without getting drenched…Luckily rain gods heard my silent worry and within few minutes drizzle had begun to slow down…

Reached station and found train already on platform before time…felt as if life gives you few nice moments to rejoice even though it being insignificant… heaved a sigh of relief on finding a vacant wooden plank to get seated which was soon turned into a overburdened plank with some heavy weights exerting their mass on it…noticed a Muslim guy in his 40’s sitting in front of me with very curious eyes…seemed like a newbie on train waiting to get down at the correct destination…slowly as the train left the platform started to hear bhajan’s from nearby coach and was overwhelmed knowing that this had been a regular affair in the EMU and indeed a much needed boost to everyone as everybody these days is in search of stress relieving techniques and what else could prove to be a elixir other than the almighty’s name …
Co-passengers started a conversation about their health and praised govt’s online medical facility to govt employees in spite of rising prices and corruption…Well it works out in the same way as seeing the glass half full rather than half empty… From the bhajan camp a guy in his 20’s started distributing boondis (offering to Lord Hanuman in India on Tuesdays) and noticed that while communal riots do have a say in secular India but the Muslim guy cheerfully obliged to receive the boondis offered to him without hesitating and had them. The young guy went on to distribute it to all other passengers in that bogie with some donating money as a token of thanks or offering…seeing this I got reminded that there exists souls on this planet who would always be there for some noble deed even though how small it may be…
One of my co-passengers started praising a women standing near the gate as a very hardworking and brave women who takes care of her 2 daughters and follows a tiring routine from commuting in the morning to serving her police duties and taking care of her family… indeed life is not a bed of roses and life begins once your comfort zone ends… A man in his 30’s was carrying a child on his shoulders and was not comfortable adjusting in the crowd when a women offered to keep the child in her lap for the time being…Really no words to explain such act as a mother’s nature is a mothers indeed…
Got off at my destination with all such nice things to cheer up my day ahead and proceeded to class with a big smile…

It was a routine activity on the platform with people enquiring about the timings of the train and cursing the railways for being inefficient ignoring the fact that how many times we people keep up to our promises…Noticed an elderly couple affection for each other when the wife handed over the cough syrup to her husband who immediately followed her orders like a small child…reminded me of the fact that there are two treasures in old life…a old wife and a faithful dog…
Boarded the train and met one of my old friends, started sharing talks about our coaching days and time flew within no time and we reached our destination…really friends make us forget the world around us and also the stress in our lives…
With all such lovely events ranging from love for a small child to a love of an elderly couple few hours of my life today passed on which kept a big smile on my face throughout…
