Day 6– April 6, 2012
Jai Shri Ram…Jai Shri Hanuman… (Today is Hanuman Jayanti)
Got up couple of minutes earlier only to find out that I am in fact on the same routine time… Even though how hard I try my clock keeps an eye on me and adjusts itself accordingly… Noticed wet roads somewhere as if rain had thought of preferential showers at night. Even rain gods are biased in today’s world…

Reached the station on time. Got into bhajan bogie (sounds like bhajan bhogi meaning one who experiences bhajans) as usual and got seated amidst colorfully dressed people…suddenly heard a loud voice of a women who was informing her family that how she acted smart and boarded this train & would be reaching a particular place early so that her family members would pick her up easily from there...Indeed for everyone family means heaven on earth… Later on people sitting nearby joined in the conversation and guided her how to reach the aforesaid place…Sometimes an Indian is a Tourist in India itself…
Parents of a new born baby were busy playing with their new love…really babies smile makes us plunge ourselves into a loving and stress free world… Bhajans started and very soon Laddoo were distributed as Prasad for the commuters on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. Got into the spiritual mood by singing along the bhajans in mild voice…Train arrived on the expected time today…seemed like driver was a hanuman devotee and wouldn’t like to invite curses at least today… :)
Got off at the station & proceeded towards my classes in a refreshed mood hoping to inculcate the teachings of Shri Hanuman ji into our daily life…

Whoa…Class ended early as our faculty’s near one was admitted in hospital…Really a good mind and body are the real treasures of a human being… Reached the station and to my utter disbelief found the train arriving at correct time…My joy knew no bounds as I would be reaching my place a lot earlier…amidst al this excitement I got into a bogie and saw only few people in it…was a bit amused as lot of people got into it at that time…to my bad luck it was a ladies compartment…immediately I got off from it and ran to get into a gents bogie as I will never invite trouble from a ladies constable…Women should indeed be given priority everywhere as they are no less match than men…
Travelled half way through standing and chit chatting with friends and didn’t have my breakfast intentionally as sometimes even the stomach needs to be given rest else it will malfunction… Got seated after a while and shared my friends tasty breakfast…after all a rational human often looks out for happiness in other people’s food, belongings and possessions… Arrived at station again at correct time today…Well indeed every person needs appreciation and truly it was the driver turn who indeed was the star of the day…
With a cheerful smile on face and a shy sun in its place, proceeded towards my home to experience BHANDARA of Shri Hanuman Jayanti…
May Shri Hanuman bless all of us…
