"EMU Diaries" - Day 19

Day 19– April 21, 2012

After a drizzle at night along with dusty winds, woke up in a refreshed mood today. Like rain washes away dirt from the leaves and surrounding, even we should try to cleanse our inner self by meditation… Well from today it was my turn to ferry my friend for next few days. Burden reduces when shared…

Reached station at nick of time. Train arrived a bit late but departed on time. Got seated and begun my research. Noticed a guy rubbing his nails doing yoga to keep his hair black but the irony was he had most his hair grey in color. Optimism is indeed a prized possession… Meanwhile a guy boarded with boiled chick peas (chana dal) in a packet. Boiled food items are beneficial to heath... But to my dismay I noticed that guy after finishing his breakfast, ran through his hair the oil on his hands. Fuller utilization of resources… Saw a man twirling his moustache. Maintenance of moustache seems a lost affair these days.

Bhajan camp was still going strong on vocal chords. A father was guiding her daughter towards going to a certain place. Guidance is a vital element in all scenarios… A woman was resting her head on her husband shoulders like a small child. Love never fades no matter what the age is… People threw trash through the door which ultimately went in from another door…reminded me of the possible consequences when we satisfy our needs and let those (future generation) behind us suffer…

Train arrived on time and got off with the thought that selfish attitude of ours would at any point affect our near and dear ones also…

No hurry to reach the platform as we knew the intention of the railways. Bench was soiled so kept my bag at a distance but when noticed a person, quickly offered him my seat and he obliged by holding my bag in return. Every action has a reaction, whether it is positive or negative…Discussed about eastern side of our country. Nature has lovers everywhere…

Train arrived and got in to be seated comfortably. Noticed a rural old man sporting branded shades. Don’t judge a book by its cover… Slowly they also joined in our conversation. Speak up and let it make a difference… We also conversed with them making them feel comfortable. Shed you inhibition and be yourself…

Train arrived as usual and got off at my place thinking that only because of our fear of unknown and introvert nature, many great thoughts and ideas often go unnoticed…
